The forests of Komi in the northern Ural Mountains are the largest contiguous primeval forest area in Europe and have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. But these forests are increasingly under threat. The rubbish that is illegally dumped in the forest damages the ecosystem.

Protiv (The Sculpture) is against the pollution of the forests and the inaction of the state in the region. The sculpture was filled with hay and placed in the public space.
