We will build on our collective experiences and take action in the context of the climate crisis. A variety of perspectives of our group, guests and methods will help us to find out - what is our position, what issue is burning and what is concerning our immediate surroundings? How can we use our privileges and creative expertise to create synergies, create publicity and address the wounded points of our environment?

In the process of developing a project together in the seminar, we will focus on our emotional spectrum as individuals and as a group especially. Being aware of and adressing our needs and feelings in a intersectionally discriminatory environment is our first step. We aim to translate a powerlessness that can arise from anger or being overwhelmed in a social context into collective, constructive, artistic action. Various experts from the fields of science, journalism, artistic activism, care and human rights will help us in joint research sessions to plant the seeds for our action on the scientific ground of facts and let it flourish. As organizing collective of the seminar we commit to provide the balancing act of a structure, that aims to be as open as possible to ideas and wishes and at the same time leading to concrete goals and actions.

On our blockseminar we will focus on care as activist art practice. We will start by getting to know each other, our needs, our wishes and will use this like a soil rich in minerals, to collectively grow our work together. At the second block meeting, our sister seminar from Bauhaus Uni Weimar will visit us in Berlin, to connect our focus of care to a vision of preenactment - how do we imagine our surroundings to look like in a near/distant future?

Wir werden auf unseren gemeinsamen Erfahrungen bauen und im Zusammenhang mit der Klimakrise aktiv werden. Die Perspektiven unserer Gruppe, Gäste und Methoden werden uns dabei helfen herauszufinden, wo wir stehen, welches Thema brennt und was unsere unmittelbare Umgebung belastet. Wie können wir unsere Privilegien und unser kreatives Know-how nutzen, um Synergien zu schaffen, Öffentlichkeit zu erzeugen und die wunden Punkte unserer Umwelt zu adressieren?

Bei der gemeinsamen Entwicklung eines Projekts im Seminar werden wir uns vor allem auf unser emotionales Spektrum als Individuen und als Gruppe konzentrieren. Uns unserer Bedürfnisse und Gefühle in einem intersektionell diskriminierenden Umfeld bewusst zu werden und sie anzusprechen ist unser erster Schritt. Wir wollen die Ohnmacht, die aus Wut oder Überforderung im sozialen Kontext entstehen kann, in kollektives, konstruktives, künstlerisches Handeln umsetzen. Verschiedene Expert*innen aus den Bereichen Wissenschaft, Journalismus, künstlerischer Aktivismus, Fürsorge und Menschenrechte werden uns in gemeinsamen Recherchesitzungen helfen, die Samen für unsere Aktion auf den wissenschaftlichen Boden der Tatsachen zu pflanzen und gedeihen zu lassen. Als Organisationskollektiv des Seminars ist unser Ziel, den Spagat zu schaffen, eine Struktur zu bieten, die so offen wie möglich für Ideen und Wünsche ist und gleichzeitig zu konkreten Zielen und Aktionen führt.

Im Blockseminar werden wir uns auf Fürsorge als aktivistische, künstlerische Praxis konzentrieren. Wir beginnen damit uns gegenseitig kennenzulernen, unsere Bedürfnisse, unsere Wünsche und werden dies wie einen Boden reich von Mineralien nutzen, um gemeinsam darauf zu wachsen. Beim zweiten Blocktreffen wird uns unser Schwesterseminar der Bauhaus Uni Weimar in Berlin besuchen, um unseren Fokus der Fürsorge mit einer Vision des Preenactment zu verbinden - wie stellen wir uns vor, wie unsere Umgebung in naher/ferner Zukunft aussehen wird?
